What does SnapShelf watch?
You choose the folder. Most people use Desktop, Downloads, or their macOS screenshot folder. You can change it later in Settings.
Does it upload or copy my files?
No. SnapShelf reads the folder you authorize and shows the files already on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded to SnapShelf or stored in a cloud account.
Can SnapShelf change or delete files?
Only when you choose an action. Rename and batch tools run when you trigger them, and Delete moves files to the Mac Trash.
Which Macs are supported?
SnapShelf requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later and runs natively on both Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
Is this a subscription?
No. The launch price is a one-time $4.99 purchase for SnapShelf 1.x. There is no account and no recurring charge.
How do I install it?
After checkout, Gumroad provides the SnapShelf DMG. The app is notarized by Apple for direct installation outside the Mac App Store.
